Maybe not, although it would sure piss off an awful lot of other Dems. That's kind of a fringe benefit for us of Biden's picking a Veep candidate the way he has - everyone gets some input, but when Biden does what he wants to anyway then a whole bunch of people stop being as excited about his candidacy as they were. At that point the Trump campaign transposes Warren and Biden's faces onto Grant Wood's "American Gothic" painting and everyone starts nodding and saying "yeah, that is a couple of bossy old white people from the Northeast who haven't necessarily impressed in their careers so far."

The big question is whether Warren can actually bring in (or, I suppose, reassure) enough Dems to help Biden win. Her own support during the primaries was pretty dang variable, and while she tried to push aggressively right up until the end, her campaign really kinda ended with a whimper.

There’s no way in hell that Biden picks an old white female as his VP, it’s just not going to happen.

He’s going to pick a younger black female, it’s all but a done deal already.

Joe will pick whoever his handlers tell him to. Until then he'll just continue to eat crayons in his basement.

Ask Val 'any' question during a debate she has not been specifically prepped for and watch the stupid flow. This woman's entire career has been built on her being black and a woman. She is an absolute disaster, and the definition of a moron. However, she is a rocket scientist when compared with her husband who makes Gabby Giffords looks coherent.

Couple all that with Val being virtually an unknown to the vast majority of the country and she isn't going to be anyone's VP this time around.

Warren doesn't bring Biden something new, she's white, Northeastern and rich.

Kamala doesn't bring Biden what he needs, she's black, Californian and rich.

He needs a female (preferably a minority) from the central USA or southern US who can bring votes...........

Pphhhlllbbbbtttt. If he had any sense, or at least a modicum of style, he'd go with what's-her-name, the rookie Senator from Arizona who wears miniskirts and go-go boots when she speaks on the Senate floor...Kyrsten Sinema, that's it. Anyway, dress her up like Jane Fonda in Barbarella and make her give three speeches a day until November 4th, and Biden might just stand a chance of gaining an edge in the election. Otherwise he's just trying to balance out who would be reassuring to who and who would be how offended - which is essentially trying to pick the least painful way to lose out by having to pick a veep candidate.

Watched him on Fox today, coherent for the most part, alternate reality from the world I live in or most of us left or right. Counted three TelePrompTers and he stayed behind the podium. Again coherent speech but either from different world or I've missed the last four months due to being in a medically induced coma.

During a dull DNC dinner, Mrs. Biden leaned over to chat with Chuck Schumer. "I bought Joe a parrot for his birthday. That bird is so smart, Joe has already taught him to say over two hundred words!”

The mainstream media is pretending like it's completely normal for the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee to be hiding out in his basement and refusing to hold a press conference in the months before the presidential election. Obviously, something is wrong.

When Biden does speak, he can't finish his sentences, forgets where he is and who he's talking to, and says other bizarre and bewildering things. So what's surprising about a new poll, then, is that only 55 percent think Biden is likely in the early stages of dementia.

The poll, conducted by Zogby, found 77 percent of Republicans think it is more likely than not that former Vice President Joe Biden is in the early stages of dementia. A majority of Independents, 56 percent, feel the same way. A surprising number of Democrats, 32 percent, even think Biden likely has dementia. It looks like the Democrats were serious about their "anyone but Trump" slogan.

Well, it won’t be Klobuchar; she’s furiously virtue signaling for a black female. That, or she’s possibly smart enough to know a campaign with sleepy Joe would be too toxic to have a chance...
