Former Vice President Joe Biden pledged Americans who “like” their employer-based or private insurance plans could keep them under a sweeping healthcare reform proposal his campaign unveiled on Monday.
“If you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it,”
“if you like your private insurance, you can keep it.”

"All the citizens of this land are of right freemen; they owe no allegiance to any class and should recognize no task-masters. Under the chart of their liberties, under the law of high heaven, they are free and without shackles on their limbs nor mortgages upon the fruits of their brain or muscles; they bow down before no prince, potentate, or sovereign, nor kiss the royal robes of any crowned head; they render homage only to their God and should pay tribute only to their Government. Such at least is the spirit of our institutions, the character of our written national compact."

He is considered to be "the best they got" by the more moderate part of the Democrat party.
That really shows how little they have.
Sometimes it's hard to tell if they're really that stupid, their constituency is really that stupid, or both.

An architect of the federal healthcare law said last year that a "lack of transparency" and the "stupidity of the American voter" helped Congress approve ObamaCare.
In a clip unearthed Sunday, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professor Jonathan Gruber appears on a panel and discusses how the reform earned enough votes to pass.
He suggested that many lawmakers and voters didn't know what was in the law or how its financing worked, and that this helped it win approval.
"Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage," Gruber said. "And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass."
