I'll be in Vegas Wednesday through Friday this next week. My company is sending me to the ISA show to scope out new technology, materials and procedures.

I have vendors clamoring to take me out Wednesday night, boss is treating Thursday night and Friday I am free until departure in the late afternoon.

I'm not much of a show person and I don't gamble, but I do like to take pix and have my minion trainees envy me.

Hookers and blow do pique my interest.

If you don't wake up naked in the driveway of Wayne Newton's mansion with a black eye and a new tattoo then you probably did it wrong Razz

The Palace has gone through an extensive remodel and is now The Linq. Don't believe the car museum is still there. Shelby America is just off 15 south of the strip...tours are free.

I was in Vegas last week.

Take the scenic drive through Red Rock Canyon if you haven't been there before. It's about a 30 min drive northwest of the strip.

Hoover dam was also a nice trip. Be sure to leave the guns and knives, as there are metal detectors and you have to put your items through the xray ect.

It's a great place to feel very good about yourself, no matter how bad you are in your normal, everyday life. Freak show doesn't begin to describe what occurs there on a normal, everyday basis.

Battlefield Vegas looks like a good time, although I always run out of time there.

Tour the Venitian, prepare to get lost at least once

Make sure you catch a few water shows at the Bellagio

Find the Subway & fast food restaurants on the strip for a cheap quick bite

On Sat do the breakfast buffet at the Wynn. It's the one in the back through the casino past the check in desk, NOT the one up front.

People watching is never ending

The Forum Shops are worth a visit

Most casinos are at least worth a walk through

Find Battista's Hole In The Wall for great Italian and amazing Vegas history.

You'll stay busy....

+1 for sure! Be sure to take the tour inside the dam.

IIRC, Red Rock Canyon is not that far from Hoover Dam.

^^^ They're nearly fifty miles apart in opposite directions from town. One probably wouldn't try to do both the same day.
