Good- Iran will be pissed at the loss of their favorite general. The bigger question is what the hell was that asshole doing at the Baghdad airport in the first place? I think we know the answer (fomenting unrest) but who the fuck does Iran think they are? Dismantling Iran as a military power is the only way to end their aggression.

The news reports made it sound like the rockets fired were from Iranian backed militias near Baghdad, so did they take out their own people by accident?

RT but it seems common knowledge now.

https://www.rt.com/news/477353...ander-killed-strike/

This is big regardless of who did it. Trumps tweet Tuesday:

"They will pay a very BIG PRICE! This is not a Warning, it is a Threat."

This interview of Trump in 1980 stands out because he talks about Iran and the Iranian Hostage Crisis.

Well that RT article makes it sound like this was caused by a US missle strike in response to the rocket attack.

We got the Quds commander overall MidEast, head of the Iranian militia that hit our embassy couple days ago, and Marines have arrested two other Iranian militia leaders in Baghdad.

That's a hand of poker that isn't bluffing.

Iraqi's out in the streets marching in celebration already. (If anyone cares) Wink

Sounds like Suleimani was coming into the country for some "activities" and we decided it would be best to make it a short stay.

U.S. officials told Reuters that strikes had been carried out against two targets linked to Iran in Baghdad.

The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, declined to give any further details.
