This quote tells you everything you need to know about the real drive behind this. These people didn’t just spontaneously band together to go “find a better life”. This is more proof of a larger conspiracy to attack the sovereignty of this country in an organized and systematic manner.

There is a lot going on w this caravan.

post above: the caravan is in Cordoba on 4 Nov

last night the caravan was in Mexico City.

How does 4000 people travel 150 miles in 1 day ? (not by walking)

https://www.foxnews.com/world/...ction-underway-in-us

The leading migrant caravan pushing its way toward the U.S. border is hunkering down in Mexico City on Tuesday,

A Fox News crew traveling with the caravan was told this morning that 4,000 migrants slept last night inside the Jesus Martinez stadium in tents, on bleachers and under tarps -- and another 1,000 are reportedly still en route Tuesday

The stadium in Mexico City that the migrants flocked to Monday has a capacity of 6,000, officials said, and four big tents set up for sleeping quickly filled up. Blankets were in high demand as the chill settled in a city more than 7,300 feet above sea level, a big change for the group, which had just trudged for three weeks in tropical heat.

Nashieli Ramirez, ombudsman for the local human rights commission, said Mexico City was preparing to accommodate as many as 5,000 people.

The Trump administration announced Thursday that migrants who attempt to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally will not be eligible to claim asylum under a new rule meant to crack down on "meritless" claims.

The rule, which prevents migrants from claiming asylum if they do not do so at an official border crossing, is the latest attempt by the White House to handle a surge in migration to the U.S. from the Central American countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. President Trump is expected to formally enact the rule in a presidential proclamation Friday.

"Consistent with our immigration laws, the President has the broad authority to suspend or restrict the entry of aliens into the United States if he determines it to be in the national interest to do so," Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said in a joint statement. " ... Our asylum system is overwhelmed with too many meritless asylum claims from aliens who place a tremendous burden on our resources, preventing us from being able to expeditiously grant asylum to those who truly deserve it. Today, we are using the authority granted to us by Congress to bar aliens who violate a Presidential suspension of entry or other restriction from asylum eligibility.”

The rule, which is likely to be challenged in court by pro-immigration groups, was spurred in part by caravans of Central American migrants walking toward the border. They are now about 600 miles away. Trump has vowed to stop them from entering the country and made the issue a key part of his closing argument ahead of this week's midterm elections.

A senior administration official said the White House hopes that by funneling asylum claimants to ports of entry, officials will be able to assess and adjudicate the claims more rapidly. The official did not say where asylum-seekers would be housed should they arrive at those ports of entry in large numbers. The official added that the rule was not retroactive and only covers future asylum claimants.

According to DHS, the department has seen a 2,000 percent increase since 2013 in migrants claiming that they have "credible fear" of persecution should they return to their home country. A senior administration official said Thursday that the vast majority of such claims are "non-meritorious."

Good news. We can’t have people everywhere at once and unless people are verified in the legitimate system, they’ll get nothing but deported. The first step towards revamping the system, and FUCK the pro-immigration groups.

MEXICO CITY -- Thousands of Central American migrants decided to depart Mexico City early Friday and head toward the northern city of Tijuana, opting for the longer but likely safer route to the U.S. border, caravan organizers said.

The decision was made late Thursday in a Mexico City stadium where roughly 5,000 migrants have spent the past few days resting, receiving medical attention and debating to how to proceed with their arduous trek.

The announcement that the caravan would push northward on Friday, toward the official crossing at Tijuana, came shortly after caravan representatives met with officials from the local United Nations office and demanded buses to take them to the border.

Caravan coordinator Milton Benitez told the migrants that they were still waiting for a response. But he later said to The Associated Press the officials had offered them buses for women and children but organizers demanded that they be for everyone. U.N. representatives could not be immediately reached to confirm this.

The migrants hoped that buses would arrive for them Friday morning but decided to leave Mexico City even if they didn't.

Addressing the assembly in the Mexico City sports complex, organizer Walter Cuello yelled: "Five in the morning Tijuana!" The migrants responded with enthusiastic applause and shouts. Their plan was to walk to the central Mexican city of Queretaro on Friday.

Mexico City is more than 600 miles from the nearest U.S. border crossing at McAllen, Texas

"California is the longest route but is the best border, while Texas is the closest but the worst" border, said Jose Luis Fuentes of the National Lawyers Guild to gathered migrants.

Rosales said he would have preferred a shorter route "because there are a lot of women with children with us and it is going to be very hard." But he agreed with the decision to leave Mexico City and hoped people along the way would give them lifts.

Fox report, video at link

The group in Mexico city voted to go to Tijuana. This is a longer journey than the route to Texas.

The UN refused to provide buses.

The group averages 200 miles per day (so some form of transportation is happening)

Lol they voted? Must be nice to be able to vote to invade a country.

So they are heading west huh? Good for them. 200 miles a day? Let me tell you getting a military log train, with all it's support, to traverse 200 miles a day is amazing. That is some next level logistics. A company of tanks might do 50; 100 if you are pushing it. Grunts walking will do less.

But we are told they are on their own, just looking for a better life.

Bullshit. It is an invasion. Financed and supplied by people who hate the US.

Napalm. It works.

The caravan is not walking

https://www.yahoo.com/news/mig...-city-050506538.html

IRAPUATO, Mexico (AP) — Local Mexican officials again helped thousands of Central American migrants find rides Sunday on the latest leg of their journey toward the U.S. border.

At a toll plaza to the west of the central Mexico city of Queretaro, where the group spent Saturday night, police prevented migrants from waylaying trucks on their own, but officers did help them find vehicles for rides.

The government of Queretaro said via Twitter that 6,531 migrants had moved through the state between Friday and Saturday. It said that 5,771 of those departed Sunday morning after staying in three shelters it had prepared, the largest of which was a soccer stadium in the state capital.

Those numbers appeared even higher than counts made by officials when the group was in Mexico City for several days, raising the possibility that other migrants had caught up to the main caravan.

Starting out before dawn, the migrants went on to Irapuato, an agricultural city about 62 miles (100 kilometers) to the west in neighboring Guanajuato state, and set up camp around a local family center and small sports complex.

As on other days, the migrants jumped at any opportunity to catch rides. They piled onto flatbed trucks, hung from car carrier trailers and even stacked themselves four levels high on a truck that usually carries pigs.

Miguel Ortiz of Honduras reclined in the pig trailer with his wife and son. He said they were headed to U.S. for a better life where they could work for more than just putting food on the table.

The migrants appear to be on a path toward Tijuana across the border from San Diego, which is still some 1,600 miles (2,575 kilometers) away.

Central American migrants, part of the caravan hoping to reach the U.S. border, receive donated food while traveling on a truck, in Celaya, Mexico, Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. Local Mexican officials were once again Sunday helping thousands of Central American migrants find rides on the next leg of their journey toward the U.S. border.

In the next few days you will start reading stories about a group of about 80 LGBTQ (mostly Women with kids) who were picked out of the the Caravan and transported to Tijuana by lawyers from the US.

It's not clear if the lawyers are funding this as there was references to an anonymous group/person in other local TV news broadcasts.

The neighbors around the Air-BnB house where these people are staying want them to leave the Mexican neighborhood. The story below is about the "intolerant bigotry" of the neighbors who want them moved to a shelter and not reside in a residential area. Personally, I'm guessing that must be a fairly large house or ranch to have accommodations to feed, bathe, and sleep 80 people.

The only source I have found on this is posted at:

The first waves of the migrant caravan have arrived at U.S.-Mexico border; thousands more expected in coming days

https://www.desertsun.com/stor...r-mexico/1988590002/

The first large wave of the migrant caravan arrived in Tijuana early Tuesday morning. About 350 migrants, mostly from Central America, rolled into the border city on nine buses . Some hung out of bus windows and cheered; at least one Honduran flag fluttered outside a window.

The migrants are reaching their final destination in Mexico amid inflamed tensions on both sides of the California-Mexico border. At the El Chaparral port of entry earlier Tuesday morning, people who have been waiting weeks to claim asylum said many migrant shelters along the border are at capacity. They expressed concern that the caravan would jeopardize their chances of entering the United States.

Meanwhile, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced it was closing some northbound vehicle lanes at the San Ysidro and Otay Mesa border crossings to prepare for the arrival of “thousands of people migrating in a caravan” toward the border. The agency said Department of Defense personnel were installing concertina wire and erecting barriers, barricades and fencing.

The migrants left San Pedro Sula, Honduras about a month ago, fleeing poverty, gang violence and lawlessness. The group -- which at its peak included some 7,000 people according to estimates by United Nations officials -- has trekked through heat and hitched harrowing rides on the sides of trucks and tractor trailers. By the time the caravan reached Mexico City in early November, the caravan had shrunk to about 5,000. The group rested in a stadium in Mexico’s capital before leaving late last week to finish the journey to Tijuana.

The group that arrived Tuesday morning follows a smaller contingent of about 85 migrants, most members of the LGBT community, that peeled off from the caravan and arrived in an upscale Tijuana neighborhood on Sunday night. They were confronted by residents, who said they opposed the migrants’ presence in the area, according to local news reports.

An estimated 5,000 migrants left Mexico City on Friday and are traveling toward Tijuana. At least two more caravans are en route to the country’s capital.

How does one say "Are we there, yet?" in Spanish or Portuguese?

Would the proper response be "Don't make me stop this caravan!"?

White, and American, but not liberal...
Ok, I'll bite. What are some differences between Mexican and Honduran? Can't say that I know. (Hmm, upon quick reflection, I'd guess that Hondurans are poorer, and possibly more aggressive about what they want. Am I on the right track?)
