Illegal to smoke or eat in public - how soon the stoners will forget.

Just curious though, when the pot store starts recording buyers and ATF gets those records, will users find themselves afoul of federal gun laws?

Yup!

Many years ago a Montgomery county MD, district attorney published a newspaper article that outlined the progression from weed to hard drugs.

The casinos will love it. There'll be a bunch of stoners hemorrhaging money.

I've not been out there in over 17 years, but the smoke coming out of the casinos was prevalent wherever you went. Even if you're not supposed to smoke in public, I don't know how they'd manage to police it effectively. Sounds like free contact highs regardless.

4473s are not digitized, even if they could get the buyer records from the pot shops, it would be a tremendous amount of work to pull and cross reference such a list against each 4473.

BATFE did modify 4473s to state that MJ is still federally illegal, despite removal of state-based restrictions.

I don't think the casinos are that excited.

You want people to lose inhibitions, and to have high energy through the night in order to gamble the way they want you to. Cocaine is pretty much the ideal drug from the perspective of the Casino.

Pot, on the other hand, mellows people out, makes them introverted, and slows them down.

And makes their rooms harder to rent out to anyone except other than fellow pot smokers.

There are many varieties of cannabis, between Indicas and Sativas and a zillion hybrids.

The notion that it always makes people "stoned" or zoned out is outdated nonsense, especially these days. The variety of types and variety of reactions is easily as broad as anything else.

Give 100 people the same exact variety/strain and you'll get 30 or so different reactions or at least demonstrable variations therein. I've seen it countless times, over many years.

Or keep repeating the same old same old.

Soooo - why do you think most people will be standing in line this weekend (or anytime in a party city like Vegas), because they need to increase their appetite? Wink

Last I heard, prostitution was illegal in Las Vegas, although legal in some other parts of the state. Just FYI.

Only thing for sure is that the "all you can eat" buffets at the casinos are gonna lose money.

Sounds to me like an excellent reason to never visit that city again. I've been there several times--I can do without another.

Face it, cats and kittens, in the War on Nouns, pot has won. Continued opposition to it is a losing battle. Lets maybe focus our time, energy, money, and blood into other things, things that are actually bad. Like for realsies bad, not arbitrary bad because some guy in a nicer suit than you says so.

They have to, otherwise how do you explain the retarded level of opposition to Da Debil's Weeb?
