I'm very sorry for your loss. The pain will diminish over time but will never go away completely, nor should it.

I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. Frown

You will be in my prayers.

I lost mine 4 years ago last Friday. I never goes away, just sucks slightly less.

And the grieving will come - I was in a similar boat and for the longest time felt I never got to.

God Bless you, Tara.

You were there for your dad...that's the main thing, sorry for your loss P226RN. If you feel a little numb about things around you think its normal, somehow the mind & body are handling the major emotional shock and keeping you functioning.

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

It sounds like he was a great dad, and you returned his love fully. You'll always have that in your heart.

In addition to my sincere condolences, may I congratulate both of you. Successfully raising and being raised under less than ideal circumstances is a tribute to you both. I hope you celebrate that fact during any ceremony (s) you may have.
