More hilarious, this is the same event that Pelosi said she "couldn't work with George Bush." Waters, standing at Pelosi's left shoulder, exchanged a look with the man standing behind Pelosi that said, "Crazy fool!"

I am very worried that the most powerful country on the planet has total fuckwits like this lady as part of its government that could, in theory at least, take the nation into a globally-annihilating war.

Say what you like about the yUK and it's method of government, but for the most part its has a government and opposition in Parliament who KNOW that 'the sun doesn't revolve around the earth', and that Mr Putin was born in the year that the Korean War ended.

Where on earth do you find these people in such worryingly large numbers?

Many are the products of an educational system that is more concerned with its union dues and political influence than with actually educating. And of teachers who have an education degree, rather than a degree in the field they actually propose to teach in.

The older ones like Maxine, though, I have no answer for....

In a word (well, a phrase) these fine governmental experts' continuing electoral successes boils down to affirmative racial gerrymandering.

The converse of Darwinism is that if one makes the world idiot-proof, one breeds more idiots. In other words, the creation of those idiot-proofed districts ensured this would result eventually.

The legislation behind these districts goes back to the "Voting Rights Act of 1965" - part of Johnson's Great Society. Much of what was in that was overdue and genuinely beneficial. But they should have stopped while they were ahead.

I'm sure they'd have liked to do the Senate, too, assuredly, but as you know Senators are state-wide offices, and states are harder to gerrymander - that hasn't happened since West VA split off from VA in 1863 and there was a lot more going on there than just a Senate seat or two.

Hold up now. We have our Waters, but the U.K. has their Galloways. George may not be quite the same magnatitude of idiocy, but calling on the enemy to fight your own soldiers seems fairly demented to me.

I'm convinced that these clowns are ineffective when their stupidity is on full display, so I'm really not bothered by them.

She really shouldn't worry about Putin moving deeper into Korea. Once he gets too many troops there it will destabilize, start to flip over and all of his troops will slide into the Sea of Japan solving the problem. Once they're gone it will roll back and the Koreans will be happy again.
