Shoot, that's a serious thought. I hope he's just drunk as well.

As to the question, I haven't had issues with returns.

But yesterday after days ago ordering and getting shipping and tracking confirmation, I get an email saying my order was shipped but undeliverable. It said for me to contact Amazon. It sounded fishy to me.

Anyways, I called. All they can give me is a credit so that I can order it again. I asked why can't they just send me a replacement but the guy explained this is how they do it.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Let me see if I got this...

You ordered a couple of aquarium filters and put them in your pants and let it rip and they didn't properly filter the emissions and now you want a refund before you attend IFTR 2017 in Sao Paulo?

Amazon should be able to accommodate your request!

Same here, I recently purchased a August Smart lock but I didn't like it and returned it. No fuss at all, shipping label arrived, put in the USPS box, done. Of course I paid shipping, it was not defective or didn't fit, but I'm okay with that.

Amazon is great with the returns, never a question.

This thread is absolutely hilarious. I almost pissed myself over the "compiling" and "analyzing".

I have never had an issue returning items to Amazon.

I giggled like I had been compiling when I saw that.
