this was the one arrest ?

https://www.richmond.com/news/...db-709d0965655f.html

A 21-year-old Richmond woman was charged Monday with wearing a mask in public following the gun-rights rally in Richmond

Police said a Richmond officer warned Mikaela E. Beschler, of the 1100 block of North 34th Street, on two earlier occasions that day to adjust the bandanna covering her face. She was arrested the third time the officer working the event saw here around 1:30 p.m. in the 800 block of East Broad Street.

Beschler was released on her own recognizance.

The 1950s-era law — aimed at unmasking the Ku Klux Klan in Virginia — makes it illegal for anyone over the age of 16 to conceal their face, and therefore their identity, in public. The felony carries a maximum of five years in prison.

The arrest was made about 1.5 hours after the official end of the Lobby Day rally .

Police said the Capitol grounds were cleared around the same time as the arrest, which was less than half a mile north on Broad Street.

Hundreds of people attending the event covered their faces. Some may have done it to keep from being identified, though many were bundled up from the cold with temperatures in the 20s and 30s throughout the day.

Mikaela E. Beschler,

Checking the two address, the 34th Street is two miles from Capital Square. That where the officer told her twice to remove the mask. The Broad Street is a couple of blocks (.2 mile)from Capital Square. That’s where the arrest, by the same officer, was made.

Something to thing about.

Obviously the VCDL had a large presence at the event, and, if I'm not mistaken, GOA had some sort of presence there, but I'm not sure how large it was...but I'm curious if any of the several other Second Amendment groups had any representation at this year's Lobby Day... NRA, SAF, JFPO, FPC...or even state level 2A groups? Any info tables set up with reps., or speakers from any such groups? 2A bloggers or podcasters?

I'm guessing that SHOT show probably kept many nationally recognized gun/ shooting industry professionals from attending but were they any company reps. or Virginia based gun store, gun manufacturer, shooting instructor etc... attending or speaking?

There were a lot of folks that showed up in organized squads, from what I’m seeing and reading in other places. Probably a quick and easy identifier, just like any other armband has been throughout history.

Notice how many of the folks wearing the battle rattle also have comms. This was well-organized. Stuff like this sends a message. I imagine there’s a lot of leftists not sleeping well over this tonight.

I'm not sure how to embed Twitter video. This is Antonia Okafor, GOA's Director of Outreach:

Yep, they absolutely would. They are fueling the black helicopters now and punching in the GPS coordinates.

You have been on SF long enough to know this has been discussed to death. Why be such a downer and be so negative? You know better? Want me to summarize every gun confiscation thread ever? People pontificate on what they want to believe and inside of the first two pages someone blurts out “Katrina!!!!!!” as the holy grail trump card.

Why do people insist on shitting on yesterday’s success? Why? It’s not like what you posted is new or even original.

Here is a BLM (Black Lives Matter) member talking about the rally. I passed him and the guy next to him numerous times while we were there.

It is good to see that many who were formerly left are finding out that the left is not helping them. The conversion may not be true conservatism yet. I will take the shift without any doubt.

thanks to Thunderson for offering a refuge at his hotel, fortunately it was not needed

and Thanks to the VSP, RPD and Capitol police, each and every officer we spoke to was very polite, no attitude, and helpful,

one thing I noticed when I got home and watched the local NBC station,

the reporter in a helicopter showed footage of the crowd, at supposedly 1130am, that had only a few people standing where I was , (I was with a group of 7 inside the fence)

later, LesDolt showed similar footage and it was obvious there were more people, not just in the area I was in, but overall from the '1130 ' time shot,

VCDL did a very good job, the buses were a bit overwhelmed I think by the shear number of people that showed,

we decided to walk in the morning, and were picked up by an local ARFCOMMER that drives for UBER, he was running folks back and forth, no charge, (we, of course, donated enough to get him a tank of gas)

RPD Motorcycle guys escorted the VCDL buses in the afternoon, made for a very fast trip back to the Diamond!!

as far as meeting my reps, I voted for both Kirk Cox and Amanda Chase, so I'm 99.9% sure they will vote for us when the bills come thru

There will be plenty of other threads to be Debbie Downers in. Either be encouraging, or just keep your mouth shut and let them stay positive. The rally was by any measure a success.

There are no other threads to go to since Mr Bellum declared that there is a ban on all negative and defeatist threads throughout the Sig Forum.
He also stated that when we talk to a moderator, we are talking to him. This does not make sense as it has never been his way to diminish someone who has a different opinion. You are, on the other hand quick to diminish someone through insults and name calling knowing full well that you are protected.
Also, how would you feel being told that your military service was irrelevant? You are not being nice at all.

My hatchet is buried, BTW. Be well and be safe.
