It also made Tom Steyer look like a total clown trying to introduce himself like that after an intense little confrontation.

Yeah, it made them both look like clowns.

Meanwhile, Biden is in the back looking at the twinkly lights and waiting for the nomination.

I have been enjoying seeing democrats on social media as of late, admitting and lamenting that none of these clowns can stand up to Trump.

I can't wait to see Trump take on the stammering, bumbling, incoherent mess that Biden has become. It's going to be quite the spectacle to see Trump wiping the stage with this guy!

You should come to the Presidential debate watch parties at Chickie's & Pete's in South Philly that 1210 WPHT hosts each election season, they are AWESOME to be a part of, way more fun than any Super Bowl!

Well, the DNC knee capped Sanders in 2016 and I wouldn't be surprised if they are stacking the deck in favor of Warren this time.
They are despicable, even among themselves.

My own thought is that this did not play well. The hot mike moment hurt Warren more than Sanders so it was a complete backfire.

You've got to think like a liberal. Maybe it didn't hurt her.

Sander's group of commie supporters are watching all this very closely. I don't think they will support the DNC at all if Bernie gets pushed out due to some back room dealings with CNN.

I kinda wonder how pissed off Warren actually was when she strode over to Sanders, pissed off, and Sanders could deflect her with a rather paternalistic "we're not going to have that conversation here; we can talk about that some other time" - and she meekly accepted it.

You're not suggesting that it was an act, that she was playing games, or lying are you?

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Or trying to put Bernie on the spot by making it look like he's mean to girls - in front of a TV camera?

Never. Which is to say, all day long.

And she has a colorable argument that he was implying she's a liar, which any law school grad (and Warren's a law school grad) should know means that, no matter how improbable her accusation, she couldn't possibly be lying.

Not at all- I can't pretend he is doing it to defend Bernie. He is doing it because keeping the Dems fractured is in his (and our) best interest. That tweet does exactly that. Keep the mentally unbalanced off-balance

So what is the opinion of those here that are way smarter than I...

If Bernie is ousted once again by the Demotards, will his fan base not show up at the polls at all, or hold their noses and vote for the Demotard candidate, or encourage Bernie to run as an Independent, which would be a pipe dream for the R's and Conservatives.

I once saw a compilation of Bernie being hostile, dismissive and just plain jerk-like toward numerous other female politicians, journalists, TV personalities, etc. I think he feels threatened by or just doesn't like women in positions of power because he acts deferential and normal toward most males in the same roles. It's quite the thing to see.

Yeah, Sanders is actually quite intolerant towards women, especially those who would challenge or question him. He has absolutely no patience for them. That does not mean though that he doesn't believe a woman could be elected President. If he said anything like Warren accused him of, it was most likely that he said that Warren in particular couldn't be elected. And he would be right.

Well, I'm not any smarter than you. But I asked that very question of a coworker who was a Bernie delegate running up to 2016. I showed him the Liveleak footage from inside the Dem convention where Bernie supporters who walked out were replaced with paid actors, and some of the other shenanigans. I flatly asked him "they railroaded your guy so Hillary could be the nominee. This is outright corruption in our government, something you seem to feel strongly about. Will you really vote for Hillary after this?"

He smiled a sad, defeated smile, gently shook his head and said "I have to vote for the Democrat candidate. That was the plan all along."

That said, I knew and worked with a lot of Bernie fans who were too disgusted to go out and vote after that, so it's probably about as even a mix on their side as NeverTrumpers on our side who stayed home because Trump was the nominee. Just a wild-ass guess.

Good stuff, Smudge. Follow up question for 50 points...

Now that President Trump has proven his worth and shown what winning looks like and hopefully dissuaded the view(s) of the "Never Trumpers", do you think the Never Trumpers will now vote for President Trump's re-election? I would have to say if one claims to be a Republican and STILL can't pull the lever for President Trump at this point, they have underlying issues WELL beyond the treatment of normal psychology or medication.

Personally, I think at this point, if you consider yourself a conservative but are still (or even newly) a NeverTrumper, then you’ve let emotion, and personal tastes, rather than logic, guide you. There’s a lot of former NeverTrumpers who’ve had the scales fall from their eyes since he took office.

I think the big question is what are the Bernie bros who stayed home last time in a snit fit going to do this time when he gets railroaded again.
