I hope they have more debates. What fun watching them all show how ignorant and totally unprepared to be POTUS they are. If that's the best the Dem party has to off, this will be a land slide.

After what we witnessed on Wednesday night, there are several candidates that should simply pack up and go home, because their performances were downright embarrassing. The following are the 13 nuttiest quotes from Wednesday’s Democratic presidential debate...

#13 Kirsten Gillibrand: “The first thing that I’m going to do when I’m president is I’m going to Clorox the Oval Office.”

#12 Jay Inslee: “Our house is on fire. We have to stop using coal in ten years and we need a president to do it or it won’t get done. Get off coal. Save this country and the planet.”

#11 Joe Biden: “Obamacare is working.”

#10 Julian Castro: “I don’t want to make America anything again. I don’t want us to go backward. We’re not going back to the past. We’re not going back where we came from. We’re going to move forward.”

#9 Andrew Yang: “We need to do the opposite of much of what we’re doing right now and the opposite of Donald Trump is an Asian man who likes math.”

#8 Kamala Harris: “What we need is someone who is going to be on that debate stage with Donald Trump and defeat him by being able to prosecute the case against four more years. And let me tell you we’ve got a long rap sheet.”

#7 Cory Booker: “We have a real crisis in our country, and the crisis is Donald Trump — but not only Donald Trump, I have a frustration that sometimes people are saying the only thing they want is to beat Donald Trump. Well, that is the floor and not the ceiling.”

#6 Bill de Blasio: “If we’re going to beat Donald Trump, this has to be a party that stands for something. The party of labor unions. This has to be the party of universal health care. This has to be the party that’s not afraid to say out loud we’re going to tax the hell out of the wealthy. And when we do that, Donald Trump right on cue will call us socialists. Here’s what I’ll say to him: ‘Donald, you’re the real socialist.'”

#5 Jay Inslee: “And number two — number two, we have to make America what it’s always been, a place of refuge. We got to boost the number of people we accept. I’m proud to have been the first governor, saying send us your Syrian refugees. I proud to have the first governor to stand up against Donald Trump’s Muslim ban. I’m proud to have sued him 21 times and beat him 21 times in a row. I’m ready for November 2020.”

#4 Andrew Yang: “Raise your hand in the crowd if you’ve seen stores closing where you live. It is not just you. Amazon is closing 30% of America’s stores and malls.”

#3 Cory Booker: “There’s a saying in my community that you’re dipping into the Kool-Aid and you don’t even know the flavor.”

#2 Kirsten Gillibrand: “I think as a white woman of privilege who is a US senator running for president of the united States, it is my responsibility to lift up those voices that aren’t being listened to. And I can talk to those white women in the suburbs and explain to them what white privilege actually is.”

#1 Jay Inslee: “We have one last chance. When you have one chance in life, you take it. Think about this. Literally the survival of humanity on this planet in civilization is in the hands of the next president. And we have to have a leader who will do what is necessary to save us. That includes making this the top priority of the next presidency.”

Perhaps the most interesting moment of the night came when a group of protesters attempted to interrupt the debate...

Protesters hit night two of the second Democratic presidential debate with a group of them removed Wednesday night after they demanded New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio fire Daniel Pantaleo, the officer who put Eric Garner, an unarmed black man, in a deadly chokehold in 2014, and a woman interrupted Joe Biden to chant about immigrants being deported.

‘Stop all deportations on Day One,’ read the large banner the woman unfurled in the hall of the Fox Theater while Biden and Julian Castro were debating immigration policy.

I think that we are going to see much more of this sort of thing in the months ahead, because anger and frustration are reaching a boiling point all over America right now.

This is likely to be the most chaotic election cycle that we have witnessed since at least 1968, and it isn’t going to be pretty.

I wanted to mention one last thing before I end this article. Once again, we had a debate where Joe Biden got significantly more talking time than anyone else and Andrew Yang received the least. The following comes from CNN…

The second night of CNN’s 2020 Democratic debate just wrapped, and by the end of the night, former Vice President Joe Biden had the most speaking time, with 21 minutes and 1 second.

Sen. Kamala Harris spoke for 17 minutes and 43 seconds. Meanwhile, businessman Andrew Yang had the least amount of talking time, with 8 minutes and 38 seconds.

It probably won’t ever happen, but it would be nice to see at least one debate where there is a level playing field for all the candidates.

Certain candidates are clearly being pushed to the forefront, and others are clearly being marginalized, and we are just supposed to pretend that it isn’t happening.

Our political system is deeply, deeply broken, and it is getting worse with every election cycle.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) won the Drudge Report and Breitbart News’ spot polls as the winner of Wednesday night’s Democrat debate.

In Breitbart News’ poll, Gabbard won 50 percent, Andrew Yang came in second at 20 percent, former Vice President Joe Biden came in third at eight percent, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio fourth at seven percent.

Gabbard won the Drudge poll with over 39 percent of the vote, with Yang coming in second at 24 percent. Joe Biden came in third with 15 percent, while de Blasio came in fourth at five percent.

Gabbard had a big moment against Kamala Harris on Wednesday after she criticized Harris’ record as a federal prosecutor in California.

“She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard said, drawing loud cheers.

Gabbard must have really stung Harris....

Was Tulsi Gabbard’s Kamala Harris attack done by… Russia?

Presidential long-shot Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii.) went on the offensive against Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) at Wednesday’s Democratic debate in Detroit, attacking her history as a prosecutor in California, which is at odds with some of her newfound progressive ideals.

Gabbard accused Harris of withholding exonerating evidence against convicted criminals, keeping people in prison longer to exploit their labor, and her evolving views on marijuana.

It was an exchange that left Harris momentarily flummoxed, as she scrambled to defend what is perhaps her biggest weakness in the eyes of left: Her tough-on-crime record as a prosecutor.

But this being America in 2019, it couldn’t just be that Gabbard asked Harris to defend her record. It had to be something more nefarious.

How much more nefarious?

You ever heard of a little place called the Kremlin?

Almost immediately after the interaction, Harris’ national press secretary let you know that Gabbard is a Russian double agent.

“Reporters writing their stories with eyes on the modern-day assignments desk of Twitter, read this,” Press Secretary Ian Sams tweeted, linking to an NBC article.

Ian Sams @IanSams Reporters writing their stories with eyes on the modern-day assignment desk of Twitter, read this: "The Russian propaganda machine that tried to influence the 2016 election is now promoting the presidential aspirations of a controversial Hawaii Democrat"

It’s true that in the wake of her 2020 announcement, pro-Gabbard tweets were sent by Russian social media operatives (whatever that means is up to you.), but this was an in-person exchange by two people that everyone saw, something that doesn’t have much to do with Moscow.

Russia didn’t set up Harris’ past as a prosecutor in an utterly devious long play, such that she could be taken down on a national stage, in person, by the candidate they incubated in a lab in St. Petersburg.

But now, whenever something trends on Twitter that is critical of one of the main Democratic contenders, it is immediately assumed to be the work of nefarious secret agents.

This is only likely to increase Gabbards exposure and standing, if only for a moment. Harris' office is stupid on steroids for even considering this sort of response.

LMAO! Angry Kamala thinks Russia made Tulsi attack her like that? These people are truly out of their goddamn minds and I love it! Big Grin

I think the DNC has realized people are getting tired of this clown show and are already trying to whittle the field down to 7 candidates by the next debate.

The trouble with that is the ones being whittled away are the most, shall we say 'sane', of the bunch. The un-American lunatics still remain in that next cut.

That is a PERFECT term for that bitch. She strikes me as being a miserable, disgruntled, dejected, gloomy, and yes...ANGRY...woman who wouldn't be happy if you gave her a bar of gold. She'd probably complain it was too shiny and then kick you in the gnads. Just a plain ol' unhappy femi-nazi crackuh-hating bitch...

As for the whittling down of the candidates, I heard on the radio yesterday that to continue forward, each candidate had to have some minimum percentage in the polls and a minimum number of DIFFERENT contributors from a minimum of DIFFERENT states. As the debates go on further, those required numbers get higher. I'm thinking with those "rules" in play, the next round will probably be trimmed down to 8-10 idiots.

I don't know how it will go per the rules for the whittling down of the candidates, as posted above by erj_pilot, but they would be fools to cut out Tulsi Gabbard. She's the only one who came across as rational and not as a leftist-loon.
But apparently the long knives of the media are coming out for Tulsi following that attack on Angry Kamala.

The Empire Is Coming For Tulsi Gabbard

The second debate among Democratic hopefuls was notable for two things. The lack of common decency of most of them and Tulsi Gabbard’s immense, career-ending attack on Kamala Harris’ (D-Deep State) record as an Attorney General in California.

Harris came out of the first debate the clear winner and Gabbard cut her down to size with one of the single best minutes of political television since Donald Trump told Hillary Clinton, “Because you’d be in jail.”

Gabbard’s takedown of Harris was so spot on and her closing statement about the irresponsible nature of the Trump Administration’s foreign policy was so powerful she had to be actively suppressed on Twitter.

And, within minutes of the debate ending the media and the political machines moved into overdrive to smear her as a Russian agent, an Assad apologist and a favorite of the alt-right.

Now, folks, let me tell you something. I write and talk about Gabbard a lot and those to the right of me are really skeptical of her being some kind of plant for Israel or the establishment. If she were truly one of those she wouldn’t have been polling at 1% going into that debate.

She would have been promoted as Harris’ strongest competition and served up for Harris to co-opt.

That is not what happened.

No, the fact that Gabbard is being smeared as viciously and baselessly as she is by all the right people on both the left and the right is all the proof you need that she is 1) the real deal and 2) they are scared of her.

When Lindsey Graham tweets about Tulsi Gabbard twice after a debate, when the Washington Post neocons like Josh Rogin are attacking her, you know she’s got their panties in a bunch.

You expect it from the Harris camp, obviously. But when it comes directly from people like Navid Jamali (double agent, navy intelligence, MSNBC contributor) you know the empire is beginning to get worried.

Gabbard is now getting the Ron Paul treatment. It will only intensify from here. They will come after her with everything they have.

In the past week she’s destroyed Kamala Harris on national TV, sued Google for electioneering and signed onto Thomas Massie’s (R-KY) bill to audit the Federal Reserve. What does she do next week, end the Drug War?

Tulsi Gabbard is admittedly a work in progress. But what I see in her is something that has the potential to be very special. She’s young enough to be both passionately brave and willing to go where the truth takes her.

And that truth has taken her where Democrats have feared to tread for more than forty years: the US Empire.

The entire time I was growing up the prevailing wisdom was Social Security was the third rail of US politics. That, like so many other pearls of wisdom, was nonsense.

The true third rail of US politics is empire. Any candidate that is publicly against the empire is the enemy of not only the state, it’s quislings in the media, the corporations who profit from it and the party machines of both the GOP and the DNC.

That is Gabbard’s crime. And it’s the only crime that matters.

When the Empire is on the line, left and right in the US close ranks and unite against the threat. The good news is that all they have is their pathetic Russia bashing and appeals to their authority on foreign policy.

Foreign policy, by the way, that most people in America, frankly, despise.

And the response to her performance at the second debate was as predictable as the sun rising in the east. It’s also easily countered. Gabbard will face an uphill battle from here and we’ll find out in the coming weeks just how deep into Trump Derangement Syndrome the average Democrat voter is.

If she doesn’t begin climbing in the polls then the Democrats are lost. They will have signed onto crazy Progressivism and more Empire in their lust to destroy Donald Trump. But they will lose because only a principled anti-imperialist like Gabbard can push Trump back to his days when he was the outsider in the GOP debates, railing against our stupid foreign policy.

No one else in the field would be remotely credible on this point. It’s the area where Trump is the weakest. He’s not weak on women’s rights, racism, gay rights or any of the rest of the idiotic identity politics of the rest of the Democratic field.

He’s weakest on the one issue that got him elected in the first place, foreign policy. Hillary was the candidate of Empire. Trump was not. It’s why we saw an international conspiracy formed to destroy him and his presidency. Now that same apparatus is mobilized against Tulsi Gabbard.

That’s good. As a solider she knows that when you’re taking flak you are over your target.

The Dems dislike Gabbard, she's not one of them. She's not a intellectual that rubs elbows with academia and various think-tank foundations (Warren), she isn't apart of the political class (Biden), she enlisted in the Army and went on to be a Major, she's from American Samoa a place leftist East Coasts urban elitists will make wise-cracks about, she was home schooled and is a practicing Catholic. Her open support of Israel and closer ties with India is freaking the left out. She's bucking all sorts of trends that the Dems have embraced...and they're wishing she never existed.

People like that may rise in an organization, but cannot get anything worthwhile done. She appears to be similar to Kathleen Kane, from Pennsylvania. She's just self-loathing because she had to 'blow' her way to the top. People like that always try and makes everyone around them miserable.

Very pleased to see Gabbard getting a fair amount of press and attention. That offers an interesting wrinkle to the lunatic primary.
