Received two voice mails this pm that there are 4 serious allegations against me and if I don’t call the number they will take action against me. Computer generated. Wanted to call them back and tell them to come get me since I have never been to NY but the wife said not to validate our phone number. May not be able sleep tonight.

He’s right to be scared, I found out the IRS is on my tail from a call last week.

I've been getting those calls, too, but I'm not worried. I'm so far out in the sticks ain't nobody able to find me.

The scammers are spoofing caller ID now to match the first 6 digits of my phone number, presumably they think I'll answer if the number looks local? I never answer calls unless I recognize the number. If it's important, they'll leave a message.

I got a call the other night that my Social Security number has been canceled and a erased. My immediate action must be to call their number and speak with a representative to revalidate it.

I don't bother to answer the home phone line. Now that my folks are gone nobody but scammers call on it.

Oh! Oh! I must have been on a crime spree in NY. Just a few minutes ago I received the same message from Bronkville, NY but with a different number to call. 4 allegations in both places. How long before I make the ten most wanted?

I got the "warrant for your arrest" call from someone claiming to be from the sheriff's office a while back. I told them I'm in dispatch, come on down the hall.
