Yep... Just for opening a checking account with a minimum of $25 & the promise to direct deposit at least $550 each month and use their debit card 8 times. Done

Now the $400 is going for a Sig P365.

You might want to check it out.

Wells Fargo is offering $100 til middle of March

Already tried that! Was told "NO" Frown

No fees as long as the Direct Deposit & Debit card use continues. Easy enough to do... for a while anyway.

I've done something similar. Like open a savings account for X amount and keep it there for a year and get $300.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I got 2 cardboard invitations in the mail that looked like junk advertising. Finally looked at the thing and thought "what the hell?"

Did the deal. No hassles. Paid off as soon as I did an interbank transfer I labeled as a direct deposit. Instantaneous payment as soon as they got the funds. Set up a regular Direct deposit of Social Security, but they did not wait on that.

Absolutely no reason to target me. No serious money. No longer active in business. Do live in an upscale neighborhood.

I am aware of the $200 offer though. I would call and ask about the $400 deal if interested.

Thank goodness I'm not a targeted customer. I don't like to be targeted (OK, so I'm slightly paranoid... Big Grin).

Chase sends me $500.00 offers, similar to this. I toss them, but I seem to remember that it was $300.00 to open a checking account, and $200.00 for a savings account, total of $500.00.

I wouldn't do business with Wells Fargo if it was $1000.
