Anyone Else Drive A High-Milage Car

About to hit 190k on my 2005 F-150. Wife’s old car is now my daily when I’m not in my work vehicle (which is almost never), regardless. 2008 Acura RDX at 180k. Plan is drive the Acura till it dies and save the miles on the F-150. Don’t know that I can replace that truck for less than $50k these days so I’ll just keep it for now.

My '02 Sierra with the Duramax is right at quarter million. Hope I can hit half mil.

I have 175,000 on my 02 Saturn SL2 and about 168,000 on my 89 Chevy Suburban. The Saturn still has the factory clutch in it and going strong.

230,000 on my Grand Caravan at the moment. It's the fifty Caravan, all 250,000 to 300,000 miles.

I reached 187,000 on my 09 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited and I got a good price on it when I purchased my new Rubicon.

I’m a newbie compared to most.
My ‘07 Ford Ranger with the 2.3L 4 banger has about 150K on it and just keeps rolling along.

I also drive a F-350 but only when I need to as it only gets about half the mileage of the little danger Ranger...

2005 Chevrolet Impala daily driven is at 265066. I was hoping to get to 300k. I'm debating the cost of a new engine and transmission (5k ) vs another car.

I had 187,000 on my ‘87 Accord hatchback. Only got rid of it in ‘03 because I got a great deal on an Altima. I should have stayed with the Honda.

Also had an ‘04 Civic Coupe that I traded in with 239,000 in 2014.

Currently have 136,000 on my ‘10 FJ Cruiser and it is still going strong.

My 02 Civic Si has 169K and our somewhat retired 03 Odyssey is one hundred miles shy of 250K.

I don't do car payments, so high mileage is a given.

I was pushing 500,000 on my 1978 Mercedes 240D when it was overcome with a bad case of body rust. Not Mercedes' fault, the rust was the result of bad repair after the car was hit while parked, by DUI dude.

My '82 240D had over 300k when we bought it in 2002. Odometer was broken, so true mileage unknown. Got rear ended by an F150 about 9 months later.
Replaced it with another '82, a 300SD, again with over 300k on a broken odometer, drove it through high school & sold it in 2004.

My 2016 F150 was the first car with under 100k that I'd owned, after 8 before it.

I try but after about 10 years I am tired of driving the same thing. Usually around 150,000.

Nope. I buy low mileage cars only and don't drive much since I drive company vehicle. My current car is 7 years old and has 24,000 mi on the ODO.

First car I've ever owned that wasn't made in the 80's. Even those only had a couple that hit 100,000.

I did own three 1st Gen CRXs at one point and have owned four plus a 3rd Gen Civic. All but one were Si. I love those cars. If I could find one w/o rust I'd buy another.

Sold my 1998 Cavalier a couple years ago. 194k even. Was getting a bit rusty and did have a couple small issues but still ran and drove great.

Would probably still be driving it if it wasn't for getting a pretty good deal on the replacement. A 2001 pickup with I think around 160k on it.

Fixing to turn over 180k miles on the 01 Suburban, think there’s a bit over 250k on my 97 F250. I try to keep my bride in a vehicle with less than 100k miles on it. We live in a somewhat remote area and she has to drive a long way to get anywhere.
