Downtownv, email sent.

I have used a CPAP for 14 years. I can't/won't sleep without it. Amazing difference.

I wanted to add an amusing side benefit of wearing it. I can put the covers completely over my head and still be able to breathe. Great for sleeping in a light room, cold room, etc.

Downtownv is the man. I'm one of his customers. I learned more from him then any of the doctors.

I'll take the resmed 10 auto please.

I was DX'd around 1995. First night on CPAP changed my life.

Used the damn thing 10 straight years. Lost a LOT of weight. Then didn't need it per my sleep specialist.

It was hard to get used to the sound of NO CPAP pleasantly pumping away in the corner at night.

Went thru a jillion different nose hose gear to find comfort...which then would change every now & then.

Been off CPAP now nearly 15 years. Most nights are interrupted only by Mr. Bladder wanting to go for 'walkies'.....

Downtownv has been a great help to me. I purchase a unit from him and not only saved a lot of money I received great customer service. Take care of your health you will be amazed how much better you feel after a good nights sleep.

me too. i have it bad.

but since january i have lost 50 lbs and am working on the second 50. last week, my doc took me off blood pressure meds. as i continue to shed the pounds, i expect within three months to be shed of the cpap unit and the balance of the meds.
i get more sex now too!

Another big shout out for Downtownnv, he shipped me two cpap machines post haste. My wife is super stoked to have a new machine and a spare for our camper. Big thank you Thomas! Love this forum and the members.

Recently bought a unit from Downtownv as well. He had a wealth of information which allowed me to make a decision I was happy with. He also recommended an easily tolerated face mast that was effortless to get used to.

Just got my referral for a sleep study. Full expect that I’ll be joining the ranks of the CPAP users here before long. Will have to hit you up downtownv if that happens.

Finally got the results myself.

Moderate apnea with AHI of 16.7 hr. 11 obstructive and 87 hypopneas in 6 hours. Going to order a CPAP here soon. The chart matches my thoughts of not being able to sleep on my back. I may also try the tennis ball in the shirt trick to stay off my back at night.
