On another forum, someone was asking what this metal item was so they could purchase them. Ignore the plastic base and model, but the toothed metal bit is being used to hold a miniature onto its base. One piece of the fastener is on the base and its mate is in the bottom of the miniature (seen on the far right of the image). For reference, it's probably about .25-.3" in diameter. Someone speculated it might be a part to a clickable ballpoint pen. Anyone know what this part is called? ---------------------------- Chuck Norris put the laughter in "manslaughter" Educating the youth of America, one declension at a time.

Masonry anchor. Gets driven into appropriately drilled hole, plug in bottom flares anchor, making it permanently installed. Anchor is female threaded to receive threaded bolt. I expect the bolt might be used to drive the anchor. It can be screwed in too far. Don’t let it interfere with the plug.

For real? Masonry anchors can be had that small? That's pretty cool. God bless America.
