I need new all weather tires for my Kia Sorento and I'm looking at getting the Coopers. I've heard good things about Cooper tires in general but I have no experience with them.

I deliver tires for a Cooper distributor. These are a fairly new line designed for SUV's. We sell quite a few and on my route personally I have not had any returns for a defective tire. Our retailers seem to be happy with them. Wish I had more info for you.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll give them a shot based on Cooper tires positive reputation.

I have Cooper Discoverer AT3S’ on my Silverado and they are a fantastic tire.

I will be putting the Discoverer AT3 XLTs on my Tundra eventually.

Update this thread if you don’t mind down the road a bit.
These seem like they will fit the bill for my wife’s Suburban when it needs tires.

The cooper all terrain AT3s are great. Had them on my last truck and will be putting them on my new one when the time comes.

We have used 2 or 3 sets of Cooper Discoverer H/T tires on an SUV and 4WD pickups. I still have set on my older Tundra pickup. Our use is about 99% on pavement. The Coopers have been smooth, quiet and trouble free....

No experience with this model but did have a set of AT 3’s on my 1500 Ram. Ran over part of a road barricade at 48k and the nails shredded the driver’s rear tire. It had road hazard through Discount and they were going to replace the tire but I couldn’t bring myself to go with 1 new tire when the set had around 10k max so I bought the other 3.

Fast forward a few months, a friend was needing new tires and wanted my factory wheels. His truck and mine are both black but mine came with the black wheels and I had already bought a set of KMC wheels that were 9” wide (the factory Black Ram wheels are/were 8”) so I made him a deal and bout a set of Cooper STT Pro mid tires.

I currently have a little over 66.5k on that set and barring another road incident, I’ll get 70k out of them. Yeah they’re definitely long in the tooth but seeing where they’re at now, I might well try to stretch them to 75k just to say it happened. Hell, they’re not what they were off road but they still have good on road manners and do just fine on wet pavement.

They’ve definitely made me a Cooper fan.

A quick update on my purchase of the Cooper Enduramax tires. I'm impressed so far. They are the quietest tires I think I've ever owned on the freeway. No discernable road noise at all. We don't have any snow on the ground so I don't know yet how they'll do in that regard but the reviews look good. I did drive in fairly heavy rain with no hydroplaning and very good results under hard braking.

So far I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Just saw this - my add:
Put E-max's on my 2018 Subaru Forester Black Ed. in 225/55R18 back in July - have 8k on them. Agree on the quiet - very good on wet roads & gravel/trail.

Just had them out in the Nor-easter that passed this part of PA - messy roads last night - 8-10 inches on the ground today. Tires worked great - I sought out some challenging inclines to see what would happen. I am VERY pleased with the performance - uphill was great - downhill gripped well and I had full control.

Been running Cooper C4/C5's on all my Subies for years - these are a definite notch up!

That's great to hear. It sounds like we won't be getting any snow in the near future so it's good to hear they work well.

Thanks for the update.

Jim
