I wonder what California City will be next.

The County I live in has a 7 day positivity rate of 13.6 percent

I wonder where the LA Mayor is partying now?

Seems CA Gov Newsom told everyone to stay home, then partied at a fancy restaurant in Wine Country. The Auxtin TX mayor told people to stay home, then went to party in Cabo San Lucas Mexico.

Typical liberalism of the ruling class - rules for thee, but not for me.

Might I suggest this as the appropriate response to His Highness in LA....

State officials announced a new plan for stay-at-home orders. The state is broken into 5 regions - if ICU bed availability drops below 15% in one of the regions, that area will go into a greater lockdown for at least 3 weeks.

https://www.sacbee.com/news/po...rticle247546405.html

4 of the 5 regions are on track to be in that level very soon, and the last one by mid-month (unless something changes).

Some of the restrictions:

Retail: 20% capacity
Schools that are already opened can stay open unless something starts up there
Recreational: playgrounds, indoor recreation, salons, museums, zoos, aquariums, movie theaters, wineries, bars, casinos, live sports, amusement parks - closed
Distanced outdoor activities like hiking, exercise, outdoor religious ceremonies - can still happen

My concern is that there are no relevant laws to actually cite under this - there are bars and indoor recreation places less than a mile from me who have been open for several weeks even though they are supposed to be closed - I see no masks at all of people right around the entry door. The only thing that can happen right now is for the state Alcoholic Beverage Control agency to go in and start an investigation into suspending or revoking the place's licensing.

I've been very careful as I go over to Dad's house several times a week. He is healthy, but he is 102 now. He misses his bowling and in-person church services, but he understands.

Not to worry. There is no way the Governors of Oregon and Washington State will allow themselves to be outdone by Newsome.

Washington State should be in full lockdown before Christmas.

I guess that means Santa Clause will not visit WA, OR, CA. Smile

Shitty since we in San Diego got grouped to LA. Mega population.
We are currently at 23%. So as soon as LA goes to 15% we will be shut down.

Also exempts anyone who wants to go out and protest (assuming they're protesting the right issue). Garcetti is truly the moron's moron.

Might I suggest you can only be shut down 'if' you allow it to happen. If everyone banded together, gave the middle finger salute to Garcetti and Newscum, and went about their lives as normal, these dipshits would be powerless to do anything about it. This only occurs when the sheep allow themselves to be herded. And looking around, there's a whole lotta sheep in this country right now.

HP Enterprise just moved their HQ to Houston, good.

No smart company would willfully keep their HQ in that state.
