In the statement I saw, the family didn't deny that he was the WikiLeaks leaker, just that it was unsubstantiated and they hadn't seen the alleged emails. Losing a kid has got to be the hardest thing in the world. I can't pretend to know how is react in such a situation. In some ways, I think you'd want to know exactly what happened.
