Died at his home in Pahrump, NV.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

... heard George Noory make this announcement on Coast to Coast last night ... Friday the 13th.

Such a story.

Vale.

W6OBB (SK). I enjoyed listening to him and he promoted amateur radio on his show, often.

It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master.

Ayn Rand

"He gains votes ever and anew by taking money from everybody and giving it to a few, while explaining that every penny was extracted from the few to be giving to the many."

RIP. Always made those slow nights on patrol go by faster. Some of the stuff they talked about and still talk about make me eye roll but, the UFO and bigfoot stuff was interesting. The Ghost to Ghost episodes were good as well. At times he would even entertain the people I would be taking to jail as well.

Thought he made his home in the Philippines after marrying that young Filipina.....

Never quite understood what he found so distasteful about where Noory had taken the show.

Listened to several of his shows over the years driving home late night from work.

Topics were way out there with lots of innuendos from guests.

What's more interesting to me is that he ran everything himself.

I was listening near the end of his stint and I got the impression he was going to go live in his trailer in the middle of the Nevada dessert or I think that was where he was broadcasting from.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
