It doesn't have to be an industrial swill.

I was more thinking national craft beer brands, Yuengling etc

Only buy one -- Singha imported from Thailand.

In the past it's been Miller, Stella, Presidente, Red Dog, San Miguel and others but keep going back to Singha.

BTW -- great idea for a post.

Hard question to answer.
-Local- Founders Breakfast Stout or their Red's Rye IPA, depending on the day.
-National- Bell's brewery is an hour away so not really local, so I'll name Bell's Two Hearted. Otherwise I really like the Deschute's Fresh Squeezed to change things up.
-Foreign-Most any Belgian Tripel. Or good examples of such as Unibroue's "La Fin Du Monde".

Local - Clubhouse DIPA. Double IPA
National - Guinness
Foreign - Guinness again although Hoegarden (funny name but not pronounced the way it's spelled) is a strong candidate.

I'd rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I'm not.

The only beer I drink is Bud Light. All the craft beers are crap. Nasty tasting shit to be exact.

This area used to be full of breweries, probably the largest concentration in the country. But they all turned to crap and went away, thank God.

I try to avoid foreign made stuff, beer included. I buy American or I don't buy.

Many, many great craft beers available damn near anywhere in Oregon. Couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a brewery, shuttered or brewing. Sours are huge, and an acquired taste.
