SOG's newest multi-tool is the Baton
Q3.
I'm undecided on this. Is this a solution looking for a problem, or does it really fill a need. Ed

I've look at some of these, but I just don't see it. I like the one that has the flashlight and the knife, but I can't convince myself it's better than just carrying a quality flashlight and pocket knife.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Meh. They call it a Baton, yet didn't crack anyone over the head with it. Wink

someone had a great idea in their design department for the long, sleek form.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
