How many people here have complained about having to pay taxes for items shipped in from other states, especially now that most internet shippers are charging taxes.

How much business is done for cash, such as contracting jobs, car detailing, etc

Then we have coke, heroin, meth, fentanyl, pills of every variety, etc. Things that will never be legalized (if they do, it will be the end of the country) despite misguided beliefs that said legalization would somehow be a good thing.

Ask anyone who has unexpectedly lost someone close, because the loved one used illegal drugs, if they would like to have the drugs mentioned above legalized. The answer is no.

It is very easy to suggest that people simply say no. However, too many young creative people are willing, perhaps eager, to experiment, and current society is not anti-drug enough, to be a deterrent.

The cartels are making the people they smuggle across the border carry a sack of drugs across the border as payment......if they lose the illegals or the drugs.....it's the cost of doing business and they don't lose a bunch of their own people.

I would point out that despite being vastly illegal, these drugs are very easy to get on the black market. We've managed to have a huge heroin epidemic while heroin is about as illegal a substance anyone can possess. Basically the fact that these drugs were illegal did NOTHING to keep them from killing anyone's loved ones. It can be argued that them being illegal contributed to those deaths.

This highly suggests that the concept of controlling these substances through criminal justice methods is a complete, utter, abject failure, and that we need a complete rethinking of how these substances are dealt with.
