I have 3 cameras attached to my DVR security system. It's a Swann DVR8-3425 with SWPRO-842CAM-US 900TVL cameras. There is a chart showing which cameras are compatible with the DVR here: https://www.swann.com/media/wy...ra-compatibility.pdf

I'm wondering if another brand of camera would work. It's just a plain BNC connected, genetic video source and I think the only reason most of the cameras on the list aren't compatible is because of the connectors for the video aren't BNC.

Also, can I mix resolutions or do all the cameras have to match?

Thanks! Big Grin

You can mix cams as long as they are of the same CCTV system.
Stick with 960H cams.
