Jaguars are not to be fucked with. I think black jaguars are the most beautiful of all the big cats.

Impressive. I'd of like to have seen if there was much of a struggle after that. It's probably no small task to kill/incapacitate a gator/croc, even when you get the drop on them.

That is impressive. Cats are one of, if not the most efficient killers on earth.

I shake my head when I see reports of Florida boas swallowing gaters – whole. Now that's bad ass.

In recent years several of those big cats have established themselves north of the Rio Grand. Look up El Hefe. Pretty incredible.

I am glad that we are no longer typically part of jaguars' menu.

The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. Anthropologists theorize that humans fear of the dark is innate from thousands of years of big cat predation at night.

Wow. I would have thought the alligator/crocodile would have the upper hand in its native environment.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.
