Nice - SECNAV visits the troops over the holiday. Apparently, his USMC hosts “offered” SECNAV and everyone in his travel team a sidearm while there.

He accepted. Right fucking on - I’d want the same. For those that will wonder, SECNAV Richard Spencer was a USMC aviator 1976 - 1981, finishing up as a CAPT.

Equipped with a sidearm, Secretary of the Navy Richard Spencer visited Marines and sailors at Camp Shorab, Afghanistan, to wish them a happy holiday season. (Sgt. Lucas Hopkins/Marine Corps)

You notice that everyone in the Obama administration wet their pants at the thought of guns. And everyone on the Trump train carries one.

The troops in the second and third rows are armed, but the first row seems to not be. Why is that? Captive audience? Wink

Does that surprise you in the slightest?
Why is it even worthy of notice?

The frickin libs are losing their minds over this. "oh, it makes it look like we're not sure of our security", "but he's a civilian" and "it looks bad" and a million other stupid questions as to why he has to carry a gun.
Well, hey... He's an American, and it's his fucking right. And he's in a war zone, and taking personal responsibility for his safety.

It is refreshing to see the military acting like the military since we have a new Commander in Chief.
