At lunch today I saw a middle school aged boy wearing a t-shirt that said "Maybe you should practice more". For some reason it really caught my fancy- it's almost profound.

You mean like work hard at something?
It probably sounds better to call it practice.
You know, snowflakes and all that.

At my BIL's wedding reception he was being teased by a bunch of his friends, asking if he was "ready for tonight"

I said, "Hell, yes he'll be ready!" (BIL beams with pride that I was sticking up for him) "...he's been practicing by himself for years!"
