Just got to muse about whether this is a Dread Disease, alcohol/drug issue, basic human frailties showing plainly, or what?

"Pelosi's confusion came just two hours after suggesting Trump was losing his mind. "I am concerned," she said on MSNBC, about Trump's "fitness for office."

"I think his family should be concerned about his health," Pelosi said. "The fact is that this is hopefully not reparable -- he’s the president of the United States."

"You mean you hope it is reparable?" Joe Scarborough asked, apparently confused.

"Yeah, yeah," she replied.

Asked if she had advise for Trump, she said, "go to sleep, get some sleep. Bring yourself to a place where your synapses are working."

The comments section below the article are hilarious.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

She is 77. According to Wikipedia:
quote:
[Dementia] becomes more common with age. About 3% of people between the ages of 65–74 have dementia, 19% between 75 and 84 and nearly half of those over 85 years of age.

One of the risks of botox is it masks the F part (i.e. the most obvious) of the acronym FAST for the strokes. Add in being a drunk (i.e. mask the S in the acronym) and it's a real good way to end up dead. Here is the FAST acronym:
  • Facial drooping: A section of the face, usually only on one side, that is drooping and hard to move. This can be recognized by a crooked smile.
  • Arm weakness: The inability to raise one's arm fully
  • Speech difficulties: An inability or difficulty to understand or produce speech
  • Time: If any of the symptoms above are showing, time is of the essence; call the emergency services or go to the hospital.

  • So if you recognized Pelosi needed emergency services, would you go to lunch or peruse this forum? I'll have the soup and salad please.

Pelosi's speech patterns sound pretty much like my Aunt's, who had a major stroke about 18 - 24 months ago. Seeing what she went through, I wouldn't wish such a thing on anybody, but I'd almost make an exception for that golgothan shit demon. That said, if Pelosi were on fire I wouldn't piss on her to put it out.

If it turns out that she's a drunk, it would explain a lot of her past remarks and behavior. Maybe she and Maxine Waters are drinking from the same bottle?

When she was Speaker, didn't she insist on an upgrade to a 757 to haul the booze for her and her entourage back home weekends?

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown
