I ordered some sights from them several years ago. Took a couple of months to get, but they did arrive. I haven't ordered from them since, and won't.

There are so many other places to do business, why risk it?

I've never had a successful order with Botach, despite several attempts. Same story as others here...Botach will take the order, but fail to deliver. Impossible to contact.

Never again, under any circumstances.

Most of this seems to be about a former Botach employee:

Michael Diveroli, Efraim’s father, had incorporated the company in 1999, when Efraim was 13. For several years, a period when the company appeared to have limited activity, Michael Diveroli, who now operates a police supply company down the street from AEY’s office, was listed as the company’s sole executive.

In 2004, AEY listed Efraim Diveroli, then 18, as an officer with a 1 percent ownership stake.

The younger Diveroli’s munitions experience appeared to be limited to a short-lived job in Los Angeles for Botach Tactical, a military and police supply company owned by his uncle, Bar-Kochba Botach.

Mr. Diveroli cut off an interview when asked about Botach Tactical. Mr. Botach, reached by telephone, said that both Michael and Efraim Diveroli had briefly worked for him, but that after seeing the rush of federal contracts available after the wars began, they had struck out on their own.

“They just left me and took my customer base with them,” he said. “They basically said: ‘Why should we work for Botach? Let’s do it on our own.’ ”

Has anyone emailed Dan and gotten a response (or not)? Since he's posted this on a bunch of forums, I assume he's not monitoring them all. I would like to know if the effort at cleaning up their reputation is genuine.

Well Dan ....you asked for it.

When you were advertising Sig 556 folders ...I called. I was told they were "IN STOCK". I paid by credit card. My credit card was IMMEDIATELY charged...no problem as this is common for someone who is shipping something that is IN STOCK.

Fast Forward two months later. Still no Sig 556 folder. Numerous calls and emails were UNANSWERED.....phone went to voice mail.

After close to 3 months....and numerous emails....my order was cancelled and my credit card refunded. At about the same time...the Sig Stock aseembly that I ordered was now listed at a much higher price.

What you guys did was UNETHICAL and is borderline fraud due to deceptive business practices.

I have no use for Botach as you guys are simply crooks with a GSA Schedule. PS...I contacted our local GSA contact and sent them details of my correspondence and lack their of from Bocrap. You guys should NOT be on the GSA Schedule. Being on the GSA schedule is based upon price and service. Your service and business practices are HORRIBLE.

I can only hope that you lose your GSA Schedule as to take advantage of military personnel is DISPICABLE.

Tried to order from them one time. Needed the product in a hurry.

first time the order didn't go through due to their complex website ordering process.

second, the order was placed but didn't ship in a timely manor so I cancelled it.

would not order from them again ever. To many other good companies to order from.

He screwed the US government big time on the 7.62x54R. I doubt if he will get another government contract. Just do a search for his name. I was told this years ago by a friend that deals with the US government. there seems to be a pattern.

Dan, that's not very direct, is it? Unless your name is Dan Complaints.

Arc.

I use both accounts. I go through every email in the complaints inbox. I like to use the complaints account to use specifically for customers I find on the forums.
Anyone can feel free to email me also at dan@botachtactical.net

Either email account, I will help you out

how many times has anyone heard " I can help you with that "

only to hear only moments later " Ok I will send this over to the dept. that handles this and they will get it processed" Roll Eyes

Someone famous once said:
Porter: Who makes the decisions?
Carter: Well, a committee would make the decision in this case...
Porter: One man... you go high enough you always come to one man... who?

are you "the one man "

or are you the guy that stumbles , bumbles and fumbles paper work for four weeks , pissing people off to no end?

Someplace in your company theres a guy that can declare that somthing be done and it actually happens, are you that guy ?

FWIW, I recently (~3 weeks ago) ordered a pair of Lowa boots from Botach tactical, and after a couple a days with no update in status, I e-mailed the company. I received a polite e-mail from Diego informing me that the boots were on order from the manufacturer and would ship as soon as they arrived. A few days after than I was informed that the order had shipped and received the boots within a week and a half (I'm in Iraq right now). It was my first and only experience with Botach Tactical, but overall a satisfactory one.

Excuse me Dan. Would will you be able to resolve issues from two years back? The paperwork awaits mailing, faxing, carrier-pigeon or one-legged cow delivery.

The above are no doubt what you used to transport the ammo I never received. I surely intended to - and know I could have - used THAT ammo to 'SHOOT THE FIRES OUT'! Instead I had go wee-wee-tinkle-drip-start-stop-re-start the 'flow' on 'em and that is SO slow - with the prostate problems and all. Red Face

Bless my CC company for resolving Smile Eekthe issue in less than two weeks. They knew 'NOtact Tactical" quite well.

If you'll meet a two plus year old price, ship the product to me and THEN let me pay, I'll be happy to do business with you again! Wink

Check your e-mail sir, a message awaits you - with attached scanned documents re-detailing how I meet your 'buying requirements'. Renew my faith. Big Grin

'Granny-Of-Thirteen' the ever-so sweet and patient 'Lady Sheriff' sends her love. She got her ammo in 2007. Wrong caliber and manufacturer, but once she bought a AR-15 it worked, poorly, but it worked! Red Face

**The above represents fact. Sarcastic? Yes. Intentional? Maybe. Yet I doubt it, "just came out that way". Roll Eyes Semi-Old people have little tact. Big Grin Razz

OK Dan. Let's see how my proposal rolls out on your end. Cool Fair enough?

Oh. First you have to actually READ th e-mail. OK? Thank You kindly. I openly admit you sound sincere; I DO want to believe.

Convince me that chubby dude in the red suit can actually get down that fireplace I never built. Razz

Oh.. so now I get to email someone about an order they f#@ked up 5 years ago... where they strung me along for weeks telling me it was coming, then went ahead and canceled the order without having the goddamn common courtesy to tell me! Now I'm supposed to email them to discuss it? Yah.
