Today my mouse pointer is constantly switching between normal select and busy/working in background. Back and forth, back and forth. I look at the task manager but don't have a clue what's going on. Any ideas?

Using a Logi Cordless Optical Trackman. Switching to a hardwired Logi mouse, no change.

In Task Manager, if you click on CPU to sort, any programs with high CPU utilization?

There seems to be a good number of reports regarding Win 10 CPU spiking issues.

My symptoms are: I'm typing and then it stalls in showing the letters I type.

Unfortunately, the problems and fixes reported are regarding gaming systems plus the fixes aren't that reliable it seems.

That type of thing happens to me on rare occasions. Usually very short in nature and I just ignore it. Just a very small nuisance.

I've had slow response to typing time to time.
This stuff today made getting anything done annoying but a restart cleared things up. I forgot to look at CPU usage in the task manager, I'll remember if the problem shows up again. Thanks all.
