Supposedly, these are the next big thing. Popular in brothels. And cheaper than dating. But I just don't get it.
If they were like Westworld then maybe. But even then... no.
The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People again must learn to work, instead of living on public assistance. ~ Cicero 55 BC

The Lumidolls brothel, located in Moscow’s business district, has been a popular tourist attraction for football fans from across the globe since the World Cup started on June 14.
At the brothel, customers pay around £60-an-hour for a room in which they can fulfill their “wildest fantasies” with a sex robot of their choice with names like Lolita, Sasha, and Isilel.
Lumidolls, widely regarded as the world’s first sex doll brothel, opened its second venue in the city at the end of April after Russian backers beat US venture capitalists in a bidding war.

I don't think that's the first brothel of its' kind. I've read about this being a thing in Japan for a while. It's tempting to think about this being strictly for fetishists or the novelty, but in Japan, anyway, they are visited by those deformed or considered unattractive, as that's pretty much the only sexual recourse with a partner.

I wonder if they run on rechargeable lithium batteries. Could bring a whole new meaning to the question "Yeah, but is she hot?"
