My wife is distraught.
I can't even begin to repeat what my mother in law has said to upset my wife. It's ugly.

He was one of the purest people to ever live.
WORSHIPED My mother in law.
I was the son he never had.

He was a Navy vet.

I will miss him very much.
Very very much.

Prayers and thoughts to you and yours.

It seems even though we know it is going to happen, we can never be ready to accept it.

I'm sorry for your loss. Also sorry about the way your MIL is treating your wife. Please accept my condolences.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Very sorry for your loss. Everyone's grief is their own.
I lost my mother and father and law in the same year.

Funerals really do bring out the true person.

Truly sorry you and you your wife have to deal with the distraction in your time of grief.
