Though doubtful, one can hope that he has successfully tied a skunk 'round his neck with this trip in the eyes of enough NY voters. The silver lining in this is that he has terminated any hopes of a national office and any future speech he might be allowed to give at the 2020 convention will most definitely not occur any where near prime time. Juxtaposing DeBlasio and the molotov throwing, store looting, knuckle draggers on the one side with an increasingly popular first lady (currently stuck in a hotel because German law enforcement can't guarantee her safety) along with a president who gave a very presidential speech in Poland is a visual memory that will last. The Democrats keep demonstrating that they've got nothing to offer but vicious hyperbole, violence, outright lies, and a hatred for traditional American values and American ideals. Only someone like Trump, who won't back down, is able to make the liberal leadership of this country become so unhinged that who they really are, and what they really believe springs out of the shadows for all to see.
