Nice haul. Was that the limit they allowed you to bring back? The QD are great smokes, their secondary price has gone up quite a bit and most of my go to retailers are sold out. The secret is out. My first box they were under 7$ a stick.

I’m still in Cuba. The QD’s are $120/25.

Just got home from an amazing trip to Cuba. All I can say is that if you love Cuban cigars....go.

Edited to add, there are no limit on what you can bring back for personal use. You get 100 cigars duty free. Anything over that you pay 4% duty.

You can bring back 1 liter of rum per person, duty free

Where all those boxes fresh or were there some with some age on them? Looks like a nice lounge. How much time did you spend shopping and smoking? It would be hard for me to do anything else.

This was a cigar trip, a gift from my wife. I shopped in LCDH's all 3 cities we visited for a total of 6 LCDH's. In Havana I visited Reynaldo's shop 3 times as it was close to the port.

Aged boxes are available, you just have to hunt for them. Most of what I bought was pretty fresh, 2016-2017, great years for Habanos.

Edited to add: I would guess we spent 75% of our time on shore focused on cigars. I smoked one cigar in each LCDH, plus a cigar with a Mojito on the terrace of the Hotel National, an iconic, must do, cigar experience. You can smoke anywhere. In the restaurants they bring you an ashtray when you are finished eating.

Good stuff Jeff!

Had a FSG toro on Sunday night watching game 7 of the basketball eastern finals and then a Monte Edmundo yesterday. These FSGs are pretty damn good. I had a couple before the Barn Smoker event and now a couple after it. A good hearty smoke that's not overpowering and really smooth.

Karma for my BOTL SF friends. Just post here. Winner must be a poster in this thread. :+)

Karma is for 3 custom hand rolled cigars, fresh from Cuba. I'm in the process of freezing these to prevent a tobacco beetle infestation so you can add them safely to your humidor. This is standard procedure for all cigars purchased in Cuba. Habanos only freezes cigars for export.

They will be ready to ship on Monday.
