So it has been quite a bit since I have seen this thread and can no longer find it. But for personal use - i.e. not LEO, not military, etc. - what was the consensus? I recall bulletproofme as one site that was recommended, but also recall discussions around soft armor deteriorating over time. Not looking for a plate carrier, just level III to stop most handgun rounds. This would be more for home use so not as concerned with "concealability" of it. Thanks.
