So it sounds like a kid.. is it supposed to be hers singing or is that just the voice that the processor comes up with? Either way, neat idea.

First I have to drive 16 miles just to get some lunch, now I have to wait in line for hours for a tattoo. Bendable, you're wearing me out, at least I have comfortable socks to wait in.

It’s apparently a gimmick.

The app “reads” the shape of the tattoo, then retrieves the previously downloaded audio file and plays it, complete with simulated “scan” of the tattoo.

Hey lady, you can just record your kid's voice on your phone, instead of encoding it in a gawd-awful looking tat to which you have to hold up your phone to in order to hear your child's voice.

Thanks for this. the sound kept playing even after the scan reached the end.

I just don't see the point even if it's real.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

I knew a girl that had her boyfriends name, in barcode, tattooed onto the back of her neck.... they're not together anymore.

bar-codes are so old-fashioned. It'd be a QR code nowadays!
