Friends,

Long time forum member CPUFixer has been in the ICU for 10 days now. I won't elborate on his condition being as that is a private matter that I feel his wife should be the one to take charge of.

The medical bills are going to be quite high for this and his wife has setup a GoFundMe for his care. If any of you are able to donate to his cause, it is sorely needed and would be very much appreciated.

If you're not able to donate, please send good vibes.

Thank you all.

I met him back in 2010. Nice guy. He is right up the street from me. I certainly hope he recovers. Let me know if I can be of help.

Yes, we moved him to Phoenix, AZ when we hired him as our Director of IT.

I just saw the latest update for cpufixer on the GoFundMe page.

He developed pneumonia and now has a DNR.

To the family:
Sorry to hear this and I screwed up the writing of my post on that site.
It is possible he can pull through this, I did.
I was on a ventilator with pneumonia, stage 4 kidney cancer, my only kidney was shut down at that time and I was on dialysis. I also had heart issues and a pacemaker installed.

Keep believing and praying hard. He can make it, there is always a chance.
3 times the staff gathered my family telling them to get ready for my passing.
My passing did not happen and I am still here and off dialysis.

Don't give up yet.

I am praying hard for you both.

Hey guys,

Thank you all for your support. It's been tough seeing him like this and even more difficult seeing the tears in his wife's eyes on a daily basis.

She's been astounded at the support she's received from everybody and she is extremely grateful for everybody's thoughts, prayers and financial assistance.

Hey guys,

I regret to inform you all that CPUFixer has passed away this afternoon. I had the honor of being called his friend for the last 12 years and his employer for the past 2. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
