This was so about to be us tomorrow!!!!!! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jtyrDZG-eDo 2 oldest are finally both big enough for quite a few kiddie rides at Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana. So we have been planning to take the boys tomorrow before school starts back next week. It is about a 2.5 hour drive. Boy am I glad I checked THEIR website for the weather forecast. TODAY was the last weekday they are open for the season!! ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. Holiday a World!! Glad you didn't show up to a closed park, but sucks you guys didn't make it out. It's crazy, though, I was just talking to my co-worker today about my family in Southern IN. We looked at houses for sale around Christmas Lake and such, then I brought up Holiday World. She thought it sounded really cool. Do they still do free sodas and sunscreen (water park)? Been awhile since I've been out from CA, but would like to take my kids next time we go out. ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train coming your way... | |||

They still advertise free soda, sunscreen, and parking. I have never actually been. I am from Cincy and always went to Kings Island. The oldest are 5 and 3 so we figured we would try a smaller amusement park for the first time. But ohh well. I work weekends for awhile so Disney in November will be their amusement park break in. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. Oh ya from what I remember it's a fun place, if you get another chance to get out there. My kids are 6 and 3 so I'm right there with you. We live about an hour from Disneyland/California Adventure, so the kids have been a couple times and love both. Planning on Disneyland or Disney World? ...Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train coming your way... | |||
