I hit 10 years here in October and celebrated it with a Karma to two lucky winners.

Since that was fulfilled, it had slipped my mind that the boss has generously offered folks that have played nice for 10 years the opportunity for a CUT.

I haven't been able to come up with much myself, so I was hoping that our esteemed membership might help me out with suggestions.

Hey! I just noticed today is my 10 year!

I guess I'll need to start thinking about a Karma and a CUT too.

I have noticed many eligible members do not have CUTs.

I fought hard against progressive liberals in the rotten state of Washington to stay alive for permission to request my CUT which I noticed on a bottle of alpha lipoic acid. (On recent medical intake form in TEXAS, I wrote "Washington" as my only allergy.)

I suggest thinking of what empassions or brands you while making your choice.

I like CUTs that could actually be a title, as opposed to some witty saying. And that have a bit of ironic humor. E. g., JHE888's "Little ray of sunshine". I have one planned for me, but it'll be awhile…

Don't look at me. I hit 10 years and have no idea, and am pretty sure I won't ever have a good idea.

What exactly is a CUT?
The obvious answer is a little phrase that goes beneath your username on the forum.

But is it an abbreviation for something? Where does the name "CUT" come from?

This is where my signature goes.

"His Royal Hiney" is a great CUT.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

"Custom User Title" which may be granted by the Gods after 10 years of membership, by undefined number of posts, or by whim if you do something clever, valuable, interesting, entertaining, etc. Or you could be an asshole and fight with Para who will give you "A" non-scarlet CUT of "Banned".

More ETA: I will try to think of amusing CUT for OP later when I drinking something stronger than caffeine free strawberry cream fruit tea. But this would be a waste of time if OP has "serious" personality.

Well then it sounds like "Never a Good Idea" is the CUT for you.
