I like a bubble bath, cigar, and a glass of bourbon.

Last night, I was enjoying all three. I realized the tub was too short and said "Self, should have had a bigger tub put in when they rebuilt the house"

Self said "You did order a large tub"

So I went back thru the blueprints and orders for the house. Yep, there it is, big as day. The contractor missed it, we missed it. The insurance did pay for it.

Left a message for the contractor. Waiting to hear back.

Sounds like you need a hot tub.... How much more manlier does this thread sound if you substitute hot tub for bubble bath? Plus chicks like to get naked in a hot tub.

I've never understood why anybody would want to sit and stew in the broth of all the stuff they're trying to wash off of themselves, but whatever floats your boat. Or rubber duckie.

Mr Bubble makes getting clean almost as much fun as getting dirty.

Baths for relaxing, not getting clean. If your dirty enough to make a broth, take a shower first. Baths are great, especially in the winter, and with a TV mounted in front of the tub.

I'll be Usterman's tub is on a second floor. Due to weight, hot tubs have to have heavy support. Think, tub, water, Usterman, 3-4 lovelies. Minus bathing suits of course.

It's the lint. Lint from bathing suits clogs up the filters. It's true! Really!

Contractor called back "Yep, I missed it. You be home tomorrow?"

I also like manicures, pedicures and massages. Having all three done with the Mrs. really puts her in the "mood".

When you're physically or mentally tired, stewing in hot sudsy water relaxes you. And for the grime, soaking helps to get rid of it even more. Afterwards, I go to the shower and rinse off.

It's a plus if it's a waterjet tub.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual."
