I believe in the principle of Due Process |
I don’t understand why the lib progs are so hell bent to discourage celebrating the really good and positive aspects of black culture by labeling mention or acceptance of these things as racist. It leaves only the negatives, lazy, drugs, violent, dishonest, etc on display. Other ethnic groups wouldn't hold still for it, even the superstitious alcoholic psychopaths known as Irish! Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Whether the cooks are black or not isn't even relevant, IMO. What that cock holster who was offended basically said is that people need to walk on egg shells for the month of February for fear of not offending people? Life is going to be very cruel to her and it will be no one's fault besides her own. _____________

Simple solution - keep the menu and dump black history month. No more "xxxx" history month or week. Everyone's treated the same. _________________________________________________________________________ “A man’s treatment of a dog is no indication of the man’s nature, but his treatment of a cat is. It is the crucial test. None but the humane treat a cat well.” -- Mark Twain, 1902

We have that same menu, plus BBQ chicken, sometimes catfish and some other fixings every Thursday. They call it Soul Food Thursday. The place is always packed. It's the only day I like eating on the DFAC. No one has ever called it racist. Some one was looking to be offended IMHO.
