Agreed! You just cannot beat a pair of Luchesse ropers. Black or black cherry in goat skin. Goat skin is thin and light while at the same time just as durable as any cowhide. I have a 15 yr old pair of goatskins on their third set of soles.

Blundstone makes a really nice boot that will last a very long time. My first pair are 7 years old and still look great for the amount of mileage on them.
