Just picked up on this thread. Very thankful you went to the hospital and are on the mend! I had a widowmaker about 6 years ago with 95% in both arteries. I had no symptoms whatsoever other than I was tired. No pain, no nothing. I called my wife and she said she would take me to the doctor if I didn't feel well when she got home. I considered lying down but didn't thank god. Then I started thinking and for some reason decided to chew a couple of aspirin. My surgeon told me if I had laid down I would have never woken up. He also told me that if I hadn't chewed some aspirin I would have likely died before the hospital. I was also fortunate that my heart had grown some extension which only happens in about 20% of people. Told me if i didn't have those I would have likely died. The only reason I became concerned was as I was leaving for the hospital I got VIOLENTLY sick throwing up as hard as I have ever. That got me a little worried. I got even more worried when the Priest showed up in my room within 5 minutes of getting there. I asked my wife "What the fuck is he doing here".

In the end it all worked out fabulously. GET CHECKED! I had several of my salesmen get tested after me and two of them found significant blockages and subsequently had surgeries. PLEASE take this seriously. I pretty much hate doctors but in this case they absolutely saved my life.

Para, wishing you a speedy and full recovery. You are a lucky man as well!

Great time to re-watch the Game of Thrones, all the Marvel Universe movies - in their chronological order, Band of Brothers, Breaking Bad, and even all of Futurama - in order. Big Grin

I don’t post nearly as much as I used to and had no idea this was going on. Glad to hear you are doing well. I could not imagine not seeing that eagle with a red background anymore, and perish the thought of this forum disappearing. Of all the forums I’ve belonged to over the years, this one remains my favorite.

Chillin' at my crib.
An elephant stood on my chest.
I cruised down to the hospital.
Doc said you need bed rest.
She woke me up at three,
Said "I'm your nurse Kristina.
Lay back baby and open wide
For your Funky Cold Medina"
