The "no scandals" claim came directly from Obama himself where he said his administration was the first in modern history that hasn't had a major scandal in the White House. He repeated the claim at MIT in 2018 saying "we didn't have a scandal that embarrassed us." The second quote is technically true - Obama was incapable of embarrassment and the media made sure he never had to worry about it anyways. His minions are just repeating the talking point. | |||
