Gov Wolfe here in PA manages to choose his words very carefully. It's shared belief here that the reopening guidelines now seem unrealistic and out of proportion to the initial reason for stay-at-home and lockdown. Even now he's holding an update where every answer is measured in context to our own safety. A week or two ago we were one of the states admitting to padding the numbers to include all positives or suspicions to COVID deaths even when cause is not determined or preexisting.

The smugness in avoiding opposing points, data to the contrary, and continually moving goal posts to maintain the power grab is the proof of the politics.

CNN and the leftist media hate Gov. Desantis, which means he must be doing an OUTSTANDING job for us here in FL.

He is allowing business to operate within the CDC approved guidelines and not being heavy handed at all. Yes a few mistakes were made, but he quickly remedied them.

While Kentucky may have a DemonCrap as a Governor, ALL other state-wide elected offices (State and Federal) are held by Republicans, and the General Assembly legislature is veto-proof super-majority Republican.

“Queen Andy” only won by 5000 votes, out of 1.4 Million cast in the past November election; hardly a “sweeping mandate” as his “femboyband groupie girls” would have you other wise believe. He is quickly loosing supporters the longer this goes on, regardless of what any leftist news media polls show.

Nonsense. DeSantis is not a tyrant. Florida has a virus problem because a bunch of assholes couldn't control themselves with simple precautions and by staying home. This virus is a killer and would be a hell of a lot worse if we had not put the brakes on. We have had more that 40,000 cases and 1700 deaths thus far. Can you imagine what those numbers would be if we had done spring break and the tourist season and amusement parks as usual? DeSantis has been reasonable throughout following national guidelines and is relaxing restrictions as we speak. It's also important to note that a lot of the restrictions are imposed by county and city governments, not the state. What's the governor to do otherwise, act like there is no pandemic and ignore it?
