Either way it's great for 4 more years of MAGA.

What you say makes sense... but it's still early.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Wait, are we talking about the same Democrats that screech about how the time of old white men is over? So they are going to nominate an old white guy? Roll Eyes

As has been pointed out, he's the Democratic Establishment's boy and he's the one guy with the potential to attract any substantial number of non-urban votes. Aa has also been pointed out, it's early yet.

All the noise we're seeing is, IMOHO, simply the civil war in the Democratic Party that's been playing out for some years now. The urban progressives have been expecting to dominate national politics as a matter of right since Obama got elected but have been pretty consistently disappointed since Obama left office. Now they're throwing all the shade they can in hopes of dominating first the primary and then the national election. And who knows, maybe it's working - Obama has plenty of good reasons to stay above the fray but it's still kind of shocking that he won't at least say something nice about his former Vice President even if he's withholding his formal endorsement.

Meanwhile, Booty-gig's claim to the party's affections boils down to his being seen as the least threatening of the twenty dwarves in the race.

While I do not and will never support him, Biden is, by far, the least dangerous candidate they have put forth so far. He's old, probably senile, somewhat liberal, a true swamp monster; however, he's does not come across as an avowed communist like most of the rest of them.

See I consider Biden very dangerous. He will not make a single policy decision as president. All of that will be handled for him by the socialist left. They will trot him out for the camera but he will not be making decisions.

How so? Hillary's got about as much juice in the current Dem party as Obama has on the far side of the moon.

Biden to debate for first time as front-runner
BY JONATHAN EASLEY AND AMIE PARNES - 06/25/19 06:00 AM EDT

The Hill > https://thehill.com/homenews/c...time-as-front-runner

=========================================

......"Biden has run for president twice before, both times as a huge underdog. Thursday night will mark the first time he takes center stage with a massive target on his back and 19 candidates itching to take him on.

In debate preparation sessions, Biden’s aides have focused on two potential vulnerabilities — his propensity for long-windedness, which can lead to gaffes, and how to handle the pack of contenders that will be looking to cut him down or elevate their own candidacies through a viral exchange with the front-runner.

Biden’s rivals, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who will be standing next to him on stage, are already sharpening their attacks ahead of the debate, which marks the first major inflection point in the race to the nomination.

“The sharks smell blood in the water,” said one Democratic strategist.".........
=============================================
Hopefully, he can stay awake for the whole debate Roll Eyes

We can only hope he is chosen as the dem front runner. This time around, i don’t think Bernie will sit it out if he isn’t anointed. The more we split the leftist vote, the better.

Joe Biden has my full support as Democratic Candidate.

I won't vote for him, but I am supporting him vociferously as the Democratic candidate. Wink

Biden will be gone by the end of the year if not sooner.

He's WAY, WAY, WAY too white, too old and worst of all (in their eyes) too "moderate" for this hardcore Left whackjob Democrat Party of 2019.
