I have an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby, so I am very fortunate.

Sounds good to me! What about chili rellanos, those are tasty.

It was black and fortunately for you, someone already won it, right?

I used to love chile rellenos but now, they don't like me.

Mexican takeout night tonight.
When I eat Mexican, I go meatless, getting cheese enchiladas, rice and beans.
I always worry about "mystery meat", so I avoid that.

Such applies to any type restaurant, not just Mexican food places.
If I can't tell what it is, I don't eat it.

Let's just say I am not eating it.
However, in Mexico, their eggs and butter are wonderful.

And yeah, that's not chicken in your chicken chow mien.

I have a non-tactical version of the S&W 3913 that I truly enjoy shooting. I also have a Chief's Special 9, but I don't like it as well as the 3913 (even though they are somewhat similar).

Again, I'd like to state that I did not realize it was a Karma. Besides, I am not truly worthy of such an item. Perhaps said "prize" would be best appreciated if placed on permanent display in a location of prominence, such as the Archives//Museum of SigForum.
Am I correct in remembering that this Museum resides on the grounds of the stately Parabellum Compound? Big Grin

The family vacation has begun.
We arrived late last night in Cedar Point.

As is the nature of family functions oft times, the bickering has already started. However, it appears that the fire has been tamped down a bit and all the girls are at the park.

Me? I am in the hotel getting ready to go to a local grocery store. I will consider driving my rental car a "ride" in the park. Big Grin

I'm so glad you got your taste back. I'm sure it's hard to keep weight on if nothing is appetizing, and good food and drink are one of the great joys in life.

Do you, can you, drink alcohol. If so, what do you like?

My wife makes a dish she learned from her Mom that they call Chile Rellenos, but it is unlike anything I've had anywhere else. Everyone who tries it loves it, and in the hopes that it might be something you could tolerate here it is:

2 cans green chiles
1/2 lb jack cheese
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt

Remove seeds from chiles and line bottom of an 8x10 or so pyrex dish with them. Cut the cheese in slices and lay on top of the chiles. Beat the eggs and stir in flour, milk, and salt. Pour the mix over the cheese and chiles and bake at 350* for 50 minutes. Very easy.

It has the flavor of the chiles, but because they are canned and the seeds are removed, it is not spicy at all. Enjoy.

I will see if I can get my wife to make those, I hope. Yeah, that's the ticket.

OK then, I have received texts from all my girls that everything is wonderful, rides are fantastic and that this is the best vacation ever.
I love hearing that.

lbj a hero... sort of... maybe?

I booked them for para sailing at 6PM tonight. Big Grin

I do believe I am creating a good memory for the wife and daughters.
That's what I am hoping for anyway.

Tell them they're going waterskiing. Cool

Thank you. I will have a look after the vacation is over.

Today is the last day for the park. With the added expensive fast pass, the girls were able to do 75% of the park yesterday, so today is not so hectic for them.
A little later, I booked the two daughters for Waverunners out on Lake Erie.
They will each have their own Sea Doo.

They said today that this is the best vacation ever, so I am feeling good. I can see the excitement when they come back to the hotel to see me.
Today, I went with them to the park, and was allowed entry without paying. We walked over to a photo place and had an old west picture taken in western garb too.
I got the Henry rifle, one daughter held a pistol, the other a bottle of whiskey. My wife is holding a bag of cash. We look like some family outlaw gang at a bar.

We look bad ass. We decided to look serious and mean and it worked. I will post it up when we get home.

Man, I will tell you what, me walking to the photo place in the hot sun with the heat radiating from the concrete was really getting to me.
There is just no way for me to do the park with them, I am so tired right now. Plus, the medicines make me sun sensitive.
Oh well. Still though, because they are having a great time, I am having a great time.

It bites moose I have no physical stamina but hey, at least I planned the vacation, have made it here, and I can eat and taste.
Not bad really.
Best part is , yeah, it is with great certainty I have created a good memory for the wife and daughters for the future.

Yes all, score one for lbj, he got this one right.
