2 weeks ago, my hemoglobin count receded somewhat back to 12.7.
I have treatment today and the hemoglobin is back up to 13.7.

That's a relief.

I cannot believe I lost 2 cars to hail in the past 14 months.

Check into paintless dent repair (PDR). Someone good at it can make it look like the damage never occurred. It also eliminates most needs for putty/paint. Smile

Years ago, I knew a guy, but at this time, I don't have any good contacts for you.

Not sure what the insurance company has in mind.
Dentless would be fine.

After the repair, it will look just fine.
But the daughter is still getting it and I am getting a new one.
Older daughter's car is a 2010 Fusion with 150K miles, so it's time.

I changed my mind on the color, I am going with the goldish white color that looks like champagne.

Awesome. You should write your comments about him on the pics. it's good for kids to look back at grandparents that cared for them.

I probably should begin to write him some things for later in his life.

Notice the big blood stain in the skin on my arm.
I get those all the time from stomach sleeping with my arm underneath me.
It's a side effect of the medication, the internal skin bleeding I mean.
Oh well.

I think this photo shows how thin I really am, a svelte 165.8lbs this morning.

Hemoglobin count last Friday was 14.2 and creatinine at 1.85.
That's pretty good for me these days.
But hey, I am still enjoying life, quite the blessing.

Man, I thought those were tattoos! Makes the occasional bruises I get from my injections very trivial in comparison. And never mind me thinking my weighing in at 175 these days was something.

Glad to see that you are doing well and enjoying your time with your grandson.

Thank you for sharing the photos of you and your grandson. They are wonderful to look at.

The personal messages you write to him are a wonderful idea. They will remind him of your love and become some of his greatest treasures.
