Any update with continued support and prayer..Hope all is ok.

Yesterday's lab reports showed that my only kidney may be healing and beginning to restart.
We will know more next Wednesday.

Continued prayers for healing.

They are measuring the creatinine levels in my blood.

With the kidney shut down, the figures for the first 2 weeks after being released from the hospital were 8.
1 to 2 is normal.

Dialysis does not move the numbers a whole lot.

Blood was taken last Monday and Friday the results came back at 4.3, which is a huge jump.
I hope that number is real and not untrue or something.

If I can get to 3, which is where I was the last 2 years, I will be able to get off dialysis.

Kidneys tell your bone marrow to release red blood cells.
I am not at that point either.
My hemoglobin numbers continue to fall over time.
I think I am sitting at 8 instead of the normal 11. This makes me sluggish.
I lose hemoglobin with every dialysis and blood test as my body isn't replacing any yet, if ever.
We will see.

Then of course I have the heart problem added to my plate.

Hang in there, the numbers are moving in the right direction. You're pretty damn tough and I have no doubt that you will beat this damn disease.

The creatinine levels are down to 2.5 so the thinking is that the kidney may have restarted and could be ready to fly on it's own.
That would mean getting off and ceasing dialysis.
This would be huge.

I have to collect urine Sunday and have it tested.
If it passes, Presto! I'm off dialysis sometime late next week.

Keep praying all, I need it.
